Family and Friends,
First, Marc and I would like to thank you for all your continued encouragement, support and love throughout all these years. We are so very proud of Marc and all of his accomplishments so far, we couldn’t have done it without all of you. We are unbelievably humbled by this military journey and all the gifts of friendship that it has given us. Even if we have not seen or spoken in some time, you all stay close in our hearts. To my birding and nature community, it is truly hard to leave...you all have taught me so much about being a good steward of nature and a respect for wildlife that knows no bounds.
As most of you know by now, Marc is already in Hawaii working with PACFLEET. Catherine and I are so anxious and can’t wait to join him, July 31st.
Our packers come May 30th so bear with me as I bubble wrap up the camera gear and the iMac and get it shipped to Oahu.
I hope to start adding photos and blogging as early as the first week of August.
All that being said, the journey at last begins! I’m so very excited about this new website and format to showcase both my Virginia work thus far and the upcoming Hawaii and future travels. I hope you will enjoy this amazing journey with me!
