Hello Folks! Welcome to the new Blog! As posted own my home page, I'm a proud military veteran! In all actuality, I can't think of a time when the military wasn't a part of my life. My father was in the military for over 30 years. I won't bore you with my life story, just let it be known that I was well into my 7th year of Active Duty service as a Naval Nurse Corps Officer and well...met a fine young Naval Aviator. It's pretty hard for two active duty members to work in the same locale or not be deployed. I loved being a nurse but motherhood was the ultimate joy and when our son was born I quietly and Honorably left military service. This was my choice and my choice solely. I admire those that carry on with their careers and are parents too. Honestly, being a mom was all I ever truly wanted. My children, now grown, have completed 9 military deployments and several moves in between. Getting through all those separations was hard but what got us through besides love was the great outdoors. We started exploring, fishing, hiking, kayaking, anything to keep our minds off of our loved one who most likely was in harms way. Along the years, I picked up a camera and well, another true love or addiction was born. Photography was a way to capture all the memories and as the children grew and needed me less the passion to go capture nature drove my every waking moment and dreams. There's a certain thrill when you capture nature in the raw. There's even more joy when that capture is finally taken in the right light, the correct setting and is the shot that you patiently worked so hard for. Now, it's my time to live out a crazy dream of being a nature photographer. I hope you will enjoy going on this next adventure with me, snap by snap!

Really nice. Love the bio and the picture of you and Rio. So much talent
I loved your Blog!!!!
